Duck Rehunt

Duck Rehunt - 0.5

Michael Bachmann (chronotinman)

Think about it. Everyone has played Duck Hunt unless they've been living under a rock. Those dead ducks have got to be accumulating. The dog is back and, using his terrible terrible powers of resurrection, is reanimating the corpses of dead ducks left in the grass for his own sinister purpose.

This is a work in progress. The scoring is completely broken and the game does not end but the basic mechanics are in place. I plan on cleaning up the code and getting some separate files going in the next week or so.

-This game was created using python 2.6 and pygame 1.9.1 for python 2.6.

Coming Soon:

-Readme with scoring information and other basic tidbits.

-Win Condition

-Boss fight?

after changing the names of image files in the code (linux is case sensitive), it's funny. I had a SNES too when i was young ...

Ah, my mistake. Made some changes last night. Should be fixed now. You can either redownload the game or open and add a "#" before the line "from WorldState import *".

Thanks, maxime! Yeah the scoring is super broken. Still kind of working out how I'm going to make it more of a game. This originally started as final project in my game design class. What you played is what I turned in. I hope you'll keep an eye on it over the next couple weeks. I have big plans for it.

Fun game. I like the animation of the dog (very well done) but you need to make it more difficult : why not some eggs like traps...Good job any way
