A fun tower defense game.  Quite hard too... which I like.

Thanks. I'm very interested in feedback on where it is too hard or too easy. It is difficult to tune it myself since I play each level so many times during development that I lose a bit of perspective!

this error comes when you try to run the last level 'pandemonium'.
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'levels/level-12.tmx'

Oops, not sure how that happened but somehow the package managed to omit that file! I'll upload a new package today.

    Thanks for the report.

Version 0.2.1 of the package now includes the mysterious missing file!

It's pretty good so far. I like the difficulty, but some of the details were a bit annoying. First: Clicking on the "Start" button also places the first tower if I click on the tower selection button and then the start button on a location where a tower could go on the game screen. Second: How does one place towers under the tower selection buttons? Third: A lot of the difficulty seems to come from obscurity. How much more powerful is a Power tower compared to a regular tower? How does the damage per minute of a regular tower compare to a Sniper tower? These things could be easily discovered by browsing the source, but I'm not sure if that's how everyone is supposed to go about it.

Thanks for the feedback and comments!

I've noted down the bug about clicking on the "Start" dropping a tower.

There is no way to drop a tower beneath the UI at the moment. I probably just need to rearrange the levels so this isn't necessary. I've thought  about ways to minimize the UI but that is likely to be more confusing so just making the levels not require towers in that area is almost certainly the way to go.

I originally had more info on the tower properties but this took up too much space (see above!). I'll try to find a way to add this back in a way that is compact but easy to understand! Thanks for the comment, this helps me gauge whether things are clear.
