Pretty cool game. Might I make a suggestion? Whenever you ask the player what his move will be, with the "player_input = input()", if you want you can do this..."player_input = input().lower()". This will make it where if I, the player, type in "RoCk", with all these capital letters, the word will be recognized as "rock" in small caps. This is what the .lower() does. But you would have to change your "options", and all subsequent "if" statements with "rock" "paper" and "scissors" called in them, to "rock" "paper" and "scissors" (all lower case so everything matches up).

Also, I don't know if this is what you were going for but for my Rock, Paper, Scissors game's "scoreboard", I had the variables "wons = 0" and "losses = 0". And whenever I would win I would have the code "wons = wons + 1" and for losses, "losses = losses + 1". And I would print(wons) and print(losses) after each round. Hope you find this useful.
