I see you have a lot of high resolution pngs... that might be the source of all the slowdown. It's pretty and all, but I'd rather have some more pixely graphics than slowed gameplay.

Sweet game! I like the smooth/cute graphics and development of the challenge that goes on as you progress, and the merciful nature of never getting a game over. There was a lot of slow down on the later levels, and I had to quit once I ran into a bug in which no more fruit appeared and pressing any direction on the keyboard would make the snake rotate consistently in one direction... perhaps clockwise? But great job!

I've emailed you again, could you please rehost it with the new installer? I realized a few mistakes I made on the old one.

I've packaged the game into a dot app file that any mac user can run, without python, and put that into a nice "Drag to applications" disk image file, compressed to 3.8MB. I'm emailing it to birdieateapickle at yahoo dot com (found on your homepage), and you can host it wherever you want.

Work ! .... but when the snakes cuts itself the screen exits.... and also it may be kewl if you could add a readme file in the setup ! .....
