As anyone who's built maps for tile based platforming games would tell you, building maps for tile based platforming games is fun. That's why I made Polychromatic Funk Monkey, a tile based platforming game about building maps for tile based platforming games. In Polychromatic Funk Monkey the eponymous monkey of funk brings order and rhythm to his chaotic land, arranging the blocks he finds into towering staircases and bridges in the sky.

But how long till the Linux port?

Just removing the source code doesn't stpo people making a sequal, and if I wanted to I would just make a sequal with different GFX, but I won't.

Great game! I've never really played a game like it. It's really fun making paths up into the air to get to high places. You do tend to get stuck now and then...and sometimes the jump is annoying. Sometimes I can make a jump and when go back I can't make it again. Overall a really nice job. I still think you should post your source code...

Whoops! Usually you can teleport out of a bad situation, but if you make too much of a mess early on then yeah, you could get stuck.

This is a really nice looking game with a nice feel to it. It is however a little easy to trap yourself amongst the 'stuff' with no way out but to quit the game, which I did a couple of times unintentionally.

Shame it looks like fun, but I use Linux so I can't play it, remember not everyone uses Windows.

our projects welcomes all python game, art, music, sound, video and multimedia projects. If they use pygame or not.
