It's been great to see this game ported to Linux. We've been playing it on an Amiga for whole afternoons! Thanks for the effort, and for bringing me back 20 years.

It should just about run with 2.4/1.7.x, only without sound. I got kind of burned out on this project, which is why I released it in the half finished state. If anyone is interested in working on it I would be happy to answer questions about the code and perhaps start working on it again.

Ooooo.. a classic! Have to try this out asap, too bad my laptop has python 2.4 and pygame 1.7.x. This is the game I played the longest time continuously, several years in fact. I started with the original shareware version and later on had the latest version with all the possible mechs and maps in my HD. I might be available if you ever need help with this one.
