Description

A text-based adventure game pimped with graphics and sound. Developed for Pyweek 7 by Camel walrus studios. The game requires Python 2.5, but 2.4 users can use the hack mentioned in the comments to make it work.

Yes, we realized using defaultdict was a really bad decision, especially that we don't use it as much as we intended. 2.4 users can complete the game if you replace it with {"gate_opened" : False, "used_ladder" : False}

The text adventure itself is simple (the part I played) but enjoyable. The graphics were great, although I did feel a little disoriented because usually I imagine the places in my head in a normal text adventure game and they are easier to remember the directions from one place to another.. but yeah. I got up to the gate (with the gateopener) and it crashed (since i replaced defaultdict with a regular dict, I only have Python 2.4.) The music was okay, but for what I got up to, it was a huge download!
