Description

A Breakout game I made during a python summer course.

Features:

10 levels [NEW!]
Progress is saved automatically upon quitting
Highscores
Indestructible blocks
Map Editor (Courtesy of Robert Kaufmann - known as Vectovox) [NEW!]
Powerups:
- Extra Balls
- Time Distortion Field - slows down balls that are near paddle
- Double Damage

Changes

Progress is now automatically saved upon quitting the game (unless you use "End Process Tree" in Windows' Task Manager).

Overall it looks pretty good, but it still has a ways to go.
My main issue with the game is that it has a massive memory leak when you switch levels. While it may not be a huge amount (about 4-5mb per time on my short test for the first level) it can add up if your playing for a long time.
Second, I do not know if this is intentional or not but I am not sure if the ball should take out two squares when it hits between two of them.
Third, if you get more then one power-up dropping at the same time the text overlaps. Again not a major issue but would be an area to pay attention to.
As i said overall its a very decent game and it is a beta so I do not expect it to be perfect. Just some things to take into consideration for your next build.
