Jigsaw Puzzle - 1.0 RC1

John Eriksson (wmjoers)

A simple Jigsaw Puzzle game.

  • Start the game with "python"
  • Select a motive.
  • To scroll through the pieces to the right, use mousewheel, up/down key or pageup/pagedown. Or simply use the scroll bar.
  • Use mouse to drag pieces.
  • If a piece is dropped close enough to it's original position it will snap in place.
  • If a piece is dropped close to a neighbor piece it will snap to that piece building a piece group.
  • Right-click on a group to break it up.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think there will be an Easy mode (the current game) and a Hard mode (with your ideas). Maybe there will be an optional timer and highscore list as well.

I enjoydet played this game. Some improvements would be very great (1.0-RC1):

- There should be no original position.
- The pieces should be rotated.
- All pieces should snap to all pieces, if it has the right form.

Those improvements could make it even more realistic (and harder).

Very polished and almost complete by other Jigsaw puzzle programs.

Now to give it to my Mom ... ;-)
