Hey,

The code here has lots of good variety. Thank You for uploading it.
One problem, however, is that all of the games states are initialized at once and so all resources associated with all states are initialized. I think, as an alternative to loading all of the states at once in main(), GameManager.update(dt=DT) could check-for and initialize a state before executing its own self.active_state.update(dt)

I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure...
