Description

Shoot ufos with fireballs, rockets or super-chicken. Get powerups, to enhance fire speed/power/reload or slowdown enemies. Use LEFT/RIGHT to navigate your fighter, shoot fireballs with UP or L, rockets with SPACE and C for super chicken. S and P only for debugging or cheater :P Bombs, status/life display and boss enemies planned. Code published under terms of GPLv3 See website for license. (GPL,CC, PD)

it's just a one day workshop hack ;) not really playable at the moment (speed depends on framerate urgs) but maybe some parts are reusable, setup.py was an short effort to get this run at windows. Hm, I think I have to change the screenshot, I used and non free background image at the beginning, replaced it with an gpl one.

Pretty neat! I'm no expert but can pass on a tip, helped me get my game working. Take a look at http://diveintopython.org/getting_to_know_python/testing_modules.html it can be helpful, really that whole site is a good read :) I see setup.py good luck with that, I'm stumped. Don't forget a pause button!
