Description

I found out how they do what they do in world of goo! What the goo do: Black goo attaches to any goo except balloon goo. White goo is the same as Black. Are really Albino. Balloon(red) goo can pick up stuff once it's attached. Vine(green) goo are the same as black but CAN be disconnected. Blue(new) goo are not effected by gravity once attached. ALSO: R Resets the world. BckSpce Deletes last goo you touched. Esc Quits. Really fun sandbox like game! Try the real game sometime, it ROCKS! Also try, in mine, to drop the goo from really high heights to make it go splat! It's pretty fun, actually.

changes: better looking goo balls particals goo ball to goo ball collision collision with the sides blue balls are stuck still when connected the connection system works better

Well, it looks like you have the concepts of world of goo down. The only real thing left to do is possibly change it from a sandbox to an actual game. Keep up the good work! -Richard =P

Okay, I fixed the problem, sproaty. If you press the X button, it will close now. :)

sproaty, my program will not close when you press the X button in the corner of the window, rather it closes when you press the ESC key.

i found out why i couldn't connect anything to the bluegooballs, in line 155 Blue is written with a capital letter. Don't know if it's a bug or a feature :) i like it a lot, maybe time to buy it for the wii

There's a PC version? Meh. I'd rather get it for my Wii. You should at least add some cooler gfx, like maybe SVG art. Anyway, keep up the good work.

whoops, I meant to add that the close X button in the top right corner wasn't working, nor was right click->close from the window in the tasbkar

I can't close the window under Ubuntu 8.10. I used ps -A \| grep "python", found the PID but couldn't kill it, even with sudo kill [pid] Even worse is it's taking up 50% of my CPU and I can't kill it...

I've got aways to go before I'll be able to make a game out of this. The bigest problems right now are physic collision with the world, and the goo's AI.

I've yet to get World of Goo for my Wii, I need to though. This demo's quite cool. Are the little red gooballs filled with helium or something? They lifted my huge goostructure way off the screen! Ahaha, I hope you make a game with this. That'd be really fun.

The discription thing had a problem, too. I couldn't get the return thing to save right. That's why it's all bunched up together.

For the next version, I'm going to add AI to the goo, so they move tword the mass of goo and climb on the connections. I'll also add eyes to the goo and sounds.
