Description

Pymugwump is a tile-based game in which the goal is to find the location of the 4 mugwumps hiding throughout the board. As the instruction show, this game is designed to be very easy to learn how to play. I felt like reusing the Pysweeper code (see http://www.pygame.org/project/40/ ) and turning it into a graphical version of the old Mugwump game. Thanks to the well-written code that already keeps track of which tiles have been clicked, this was a very easy task to do. So this is a graphical implementation of the classic game Mugwump, as described in the page scans of BASIC Computer Games at http://www.atariarchives.org/basicgames/showpage.php?page=114.

You might want to have another look. The interface is now significantly improved.

@ruabana
You really need to see the scans from the BASIC files, at least for now. I haven't yet copied that info into a help file.
@masterlee
I didn't really remember to get that removed yet. I plan to have that 0/110 display replaced with the number of guesses used. But the win confirmation IS there. When you mark all of them, the test at the bottom turns blue. You have unlimited guesses for now.

How does this work? Is it like minesweeper? 'Cause there arn't any mines...
I'm so confused...

@sbluen
Two questions first what did mines 0/110 and why it is always the same. I think I found all Mugwumps but there was no win confirmation ;( On the other side i used far more than 10 moves did I lose?
@jbluen
Why? This site is for PyGame games why did you need description how to download Pygame. The best way to install pygame is "apt-get install python-pygame"...

See http://www.pygame.org/download.shtml and www.python.com
This is a pre-alpha release. I was really expecting comments from people who know more about the game's platform environment, at least for now. But thanks anyways.

Need to include a description of the best way to download Python to run the program. Otherwise a cool game.
