PyPlotter - 0.3

Riovandaino (riovandaino)

Hello! This is a funny plotter of coloured functions written with python and pygame. It uses the python eval function to calculate the values of the points of the functions that the user inserts and then it draws them on the screen. Have fun!

Add a menu and also improved the design.

string = ""
for e in pygame.event.get():
if e.type == KEYDOWN:
if e.key not in (K_ESCAPE, K_RETURN): #etc. excludes key names you don't want in there
string += e.unicode

Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the comment.

I've decided to follow your suggestion and in this last release I've added a indicator of the x and y position.

Can you show me an example of how to use the function?

This could really use the function, not just for adding in things like math.log but for shortening the input code you used. Add in some special cases (for example, enabling shift) and you really increase the functionality. This could turn into a very useful program. One thing that needs to be added soon is marks along the x/y axes so you can figure out where the point (6,8) is (just an example). That or just moving the mouse along the screen and it says where you're pointing.

our projects welcomes all python game, art, music, sound, video and multimedia projects. If they use pygame or not.
