PyMP stands for Pygame's Music Player. No additional exotic libraries. Just python and pygame. For the developer who wants to know if his music is playable with pygame. Version 0.1 works under win XP.

OcempGUI's docs are complete, there is no need for tutorial and what I said earlier does not count now.

Basically I agree but I didn't find any useful docs so what the heck. It's only sound after all.

my suggestion: use something like ocempgui or pgu for the gui instead of tk. They are both very easy to use.

Sweet thing! It actually was helpful to see what music files pygame can load.

Thaaaaaanks 4 the reply (my first). You are absolutely right about Linux.
I tested it thoroughly on Windows but now that i moved to Linux it needs to be changed.

This was very helpful to me when I wanted to see whether pygame could support certain formats (.MOD, .XM -- it seems to work on my machine). However the source code doesn't work on Linux without some changes -- please consider using os.path.join in the future. Also, I got a crash because my default locale is (None, None).

our projects welcomes all python game, art, music, sound, video and multimedia projects. If they use pygame or not.
