though it could use a menu and better some collision detection...
Did you use a tutorial?
If so I want to follow that tutorial (It's Probably a good one!)
I'm making a platforming game.

Thanks for playing and for the videos! You had some fun rants in there.

The collision is rough because it is using Tile-Based collision detection. That means a spike takes up an entire block. I've considered trying out pixel perfect collision detection, but I'm not sure how well that would run under pygame.

Awesome idea, interesting mechanics, but really feels like a sub-one release, instead of a one point oh. I did an LP: although I couldn't beat the second to last level.

Ah, I use python 2.4 and it doesn't have the module numbers.
