The game consists in removing sticks from a board. The initial configuration of the board is shown in the picture.

Here are the games rules.

[1] Two players make moves alternately
[2] A move consist of removing 1,2 or 3 pieces from a line or a column. The removed pieces must form a contiguous sequence of pieces (i.e., without any pieces between them)
[3] The player who removes the last piece wins
