My fist attempt at game programming. I used the Python Pac-Man tutorial from learningpython.com to build the base, but the AIs, weapons, graphics, and messaging system, as well as most of the related code, are all mine. If you're learning Python, feel free to look at this, but be warned--My code is very messy, and I got a lot of things "wrong" when I was writing this.

2.2.4, Mac OSX 10.4 if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for the feedback, but as I said, I've stopped working on this, so I may end up fixing it, but don't count on it. Cheers!

Bugfix for the crash: in line 307 of pvsn.py change pygame.sprite.GroupSingle by pygame.sprite.Group

The initial scrren and the help screen displays ( albeit in the second the text get truncated at right ). Pressing 'n' for new gives: File "C:\Python24\Lib\site-packages\pygame\sprite.py", line 313, in draw self.spritedict[spr] = surface_blit(spr.image, spr.rect) AttributeError: 'GroupSingle' object has no attribute 'spritedict' what Pygame version are you running ? I'm on winXP+sp2 python 2.4.3 pygame 1.7.1
