Description

Vectorfighter is an abstract geometrical shooter. You shoot and move with the mouse, fight four different types of enemy shapes, and blast through five crazy levels! Each enemy behaves differently, so the game can get pretty hard! The game is almost finished, but expect some bugs. Have fun!

Controls

Move with the right mouse button.
Shoot with the left mouse button.
Aim with the mouse.

Wow! This is a lot of fun to play. Reminds me of a certain asteroid arcade game. :-) I did get this traceback when I ran either Vectorfighter.py or Vectorfighter.pyw in OS X 10.6: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/dev/Downloads/Vectorfighter/Vectorfighter.py", line 4, in <module> import main File "src/main.py", line 4, in <module> game = Game() File "src/game.py", line 66, in __init__ self.Menu() File "src/game.py", line 139, in Menu pygame.draw.circle(self.screen, [200, 0, 0], [pygame.mouse.get_pos()[0], pygame.mouse.get_pos()[1]], 9, 1) pygame.error: video system not initialized Despite the errors, the game appeared to run fine. Anyway, excellent work!

Thanks everyone! This game is definitely popular... its got 87 downloads in only 20 hours. I have another project going but I think I'll go ahead and add some more levels and badguys. Thanks a lot guys!
