Starheaven is a game with the following characteristics: Fantasy-fiction -> Means that the content inside the game is not actually real. Any resemblance to real people, places, religions, situations, pets, marriages, relationships, etc. is just a coincidence. Text-based-> Means that, apart from the integrated images, it uses the most powerful graphics board ever invented. That's right, it's the imagination powered by the Times New Roman text. Role-playing -> Means you play as a character inside the game. Imagine it's you, only in the game you can change, drown, get hurt, get strong relatively easy, etc. Transformation-> In a simple way to avoid any philosophical discussions, transformation in this game means that the character (aka, you) undergoes a series of changes into one or various of the following: Animal, anthropomorphic animal, inanimate object, plant and/or human. In development-> Means that it's not a finished product. While many people might think that a game has to be finished before people start trying to break them, the truth is that no game is really ever finished. If you doubt this, see all the different kinds of versions of tetris, pacman, etc. Even now, the 'finished' games are being constantly patched. So, returning to the point, it's being developed as time goes by and as users start breaking it.

Changes

Made a confirmation of purchase screen. Made it possible to buy more than 1 object per purchase. Fixed bug: Healing at the infirmary almost always causes a crash. Fixed bug: Running never works. Even when it gives a success message, you're dumped right back into combat. Fixed bug: Failing when running seems to cause absurd damage (took 50 on one attempt). Note: the more difference in speeds, the higher the damage when failing to run up to 75% of maximum health. Correction: Can buy things at the shop, but evidently they're free and there is no message as to succeeding in the purchase. Could not reproduce: Been using the white feather, at 94 speed for some reason and 73 affinity. At that point, any action causes a crash. Corrected: For some reason, white feathers sometimes leave a human head that won't change. Seems to happen more on females, particularly if they were males who TGed. It was because of some bad gender manipulation regarding the chest area. Corrected: Can't seem to drop items. You needed to have at least clicked on an item and have seen its description in order to be able to drop them later. Corrected this and works as intended. Corrected: When an item is dropped by an NPC after a fight, the item never makes it to your inventory. This was caused because changing items weren't specified in the global items function. Still getting the crash when using plenty of white feathers. Seems to be when affinity's over 70 or so. Correction -> An image of an end of game wasn't shipped in the last install. Sorry. Made a warning screen for overwriting games.

Would become an epic game if you put more effort in it!

I noticed a bug when I tried to heal at the infirmary. The game simply crashed.

Yeah, the game is thought to try and crash the screen instead of making a wrong one appear. It makes it easier to find bugs that way, but doesn't make it bug-proof I'm afraid. I already corrected that in the new release.
Thank you for the comment, and if everything goes well, there will be a lot more content to come soon.

Hey, I was wondering if you could actually help me out with my own game? Its text based as well, and I need lots of help.

What kind of help are you looking for?

I have encountered a problem where in the data screen when I click "return", it went to the help screen. I have been able to use the data screen before without problems. I think it has to do with the way it handles saved games because I tried saving my game in slot one to try to get out of the data screen and when I loaded it I went to the help screen. I also can't find the explore screen with west, east, south, north, and outskirts which I can tell exists because I looked at the code in the locations file.

Fixed the bug of the help screen. It was due to a bad handling in the action tree.
As for the locations in the explore option, they haven't been uploaded yet. They are there so that I just have to change the button to visible when they are available. Yeah, I know, I'm lazy XD

That seems strange. there's a new build up, in case you want to test it. I'll look into it, but can't promise any new correction until the next build.

Just a note. If the game crashes or has abnormal behavior, you can send me your history file in order to pinpoint it better. The file is located in the same folder as the game. Warning: playing again will delete all the information in this file, so it would be a good idea to make a copy of it.
