Simple but catchy game with high scores connected to an online database so you can try and beat the best scores reached around the world :-) GOOD LUCK! Controls: Arrows to change direction, 'p' to pause Aim: Red food for a point, blue bonuses tend not to hang around for too long....be quick... Rules: Don't hit the wall and don't bite yourself

Oh yeah. Forgot to mention that.... MySQLdb is an SQL interface for Python and can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mysql-python
... Just in case you ever wanna connect your game to a database :-)

Thanks! I had to comment out the import MySQLdb line, but after that it ran great! I'm gonna study your code before I make my first snake game.

Source code uploaded as requested. For obvious reasons the database details (e.g. user, password) are left out. Nevertheless, you can still run it and it'll work with 'local high scores'. Hope, it'll be useful.

Btw, the server's back on.

Hi everybody. The database server with the top 10 seems to be down. Hope they'll sort it out soon. Meanwhile you can practise - at least 225 needed to stand a chance of getting there...... Good LUCK!!!!!

Well, it took a while but finally somebody has managed to break into 'my' top 10. So if you ever come back Moose CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 261 ... no too bad hey but still a way to go :-)
