Shooter Squared - 1.0

Description

Shooter Squared is my first game, and I plan on making a few more. Basically, I wanted a fast-paced point-and-click shooter with a couple crazy powerups. Explosion animations and psychedelic backgrounds were also nice to include. There are a couple other modes, and a folder for levels that can be edited. This is also open source for feedback.

Fixed the homepage link stuff, despite me not having a real homepage.

Just a notice to anyone that didn't catch the new link information in changes: download version 2 via the source or windows links, not the homepage. Homepage refers back to version 1. You can tell if you have version 1 if you have no multiplayer mode.

Okay. I think I've fixed that stuff now for the link. If I'm still missing something, I guess I'm really dense.

It's still not fixed in some parts, so I had to correct it to play the game, which is pretty cool, by the way.

Oh geez. I forgot to put all that stuff in there. I fixed that and another small bug. I changed the homepage link for the new version even though I didn't make it a new version or anything. Thanks for letting me know.

I can't run this under linux:

pygame.error: Couldn't open images\burn.png

You shouldn't hardcode paths like that. This is the right way:

os.path.join('images','burn.png')

Ensures 100% portability of your code.
