A lone mercenary, you have been summoned to the Rasten Arena, a great honour for any hero. You have come to represent your class of hero (Slayer, Assassin, Mage, Avatar) and boast of your reputation through your battle style (Speedy attacks, Massive Damage, Regeneration Abilities). However, the owner of the arena does not recognize your apparent greatness. Therefore your rank starts off at the Z class. You must prove your worth and move up the ranks to the A class and challenge the strongest hero in existance and the owner of the arena. It is said that the person who defeats the arena owner comes to own the arena, the thousand-year-old tradition. The journey will not be easy and your time is short. Although it may seen a while, the tournament only lasts for one year, 365 days. Can you move up the ranks, defeating the innumerable heroes and defeat the legendary hero all before the tournament ends and take the arena? NOTE: This is my first pygame game! The character and background images have been taken from Final Fantasy games and I take no credit for them.
