Description

Patriarchs, by Piousoft 2010. === Patriarchs is a turn-based, two player, abstract, chess variant. It is written in Python2.6 and it is a single module and needs only pygame importing to run. I have released it for feedback on the code itself as I am really new to programming and this is my first application. I'm proud of it of course, I've only been writing code about four weeks, but I really want critical feedback so I can move forwards as quickly as possible. This code, the game it implements and the gaming system it is derived from are all in or due to be released into the Public Domain and can be used freely. Instructions on how to play the game are available from the project home page. This version has no AI, nor network play. "Release early, release often."

Looks rater good, i didn't know the rules so have just been browsing through the code. I'm sure it could have been done in alot less code, but this is very good for a rookie.
