NES Zelda Map Data - 1

A recreation of the overworld from the original NES Legend of Zelda game. I've ripped the raw data for each tile on the map, and then used it in this simple "walking tour" game.

    I want to use this as a base for an actual game, but I'm a little perplexed as to how I could get the main character to rotate relative to the mouse, I've done it before but because of the way the character is drawn for the screen sliding mechanism it's a little harder to impliment, any thoughts?
