Motherhamster is a 2D game library in for python. It brings together elements of pygame pyopengl and wxpython. Motherhamster emphasizes built-in game editors, and 3D acceleration of 2D graphics, and features a built-in graphical profiler.

The best way to contact us is on our wiki, at http://motherhamster.org/ or better, yet, subscribing to our discussion list, http://lists.motherhamster.org/listinfo.cgi/dev-motherhamster.org I looked at pug. I checked out your subversion, but I'm not sure where to start with trying out the sample code, but it looks interesting. From the description it sounds like the goals of pug are very similar to the goals of motherhamster's Asset classes.
