MicroWar is 'Space Invaders' style arcade game, in the cruel world of micro-compter industry.
You're a Macintosh faced to invading Wintel hordes year after year, kill more PC.
Bonuses let you improve your Mac performances or restore life...


* bug-fix : check update on internet, fail to load the update screen : fixed
* default max frame-rate = 200 fps : do not be processor-intensive on fast computer
* PC (from Windows95) can detach from the squad and act like Galaxian aliens
* adding the high score display during the game
* visual feedback when Mac recover upgrading bonus
* visual and audio feedback when mac hit
* adding pictures to illustrate each level (years)
* small graphics improvements : darker background, specific PC screens for Win95 and win98
* clean up FGame Widgets, loading widgets can now have optionnal caracteristics

Thanks for your feedback.
I choose not to implement life concept, but instead a "free ram" (life bar), when it reach ZERO you died.
But yes from 2000 it became difficult, until you got the iMac (power shoot) that could help.
I need to refine the balance to make it a little easier from 1998.

Playing it again, I got to 2002 again. Then I got to 2004. All in all, I think it's a bit too hard after 2000.

It took me two games to get to 2002 (that's where I died). I think it would be nice to have several lives, but keep the difficulty otherwise as it is. I see this game as more of a satirical joke--which is good--and so I think there should be more than one chance to get to the end.

Do you feel the game balanced ? Too easy or too difficult ? How many game to go to 2002 ?
I've difficulty to choose the right balance. I think that the new PC Win95 (flying like galaxian) made the game too difficult, but you goes to 2002.
