I don't like the controls, they are hard to get used to. I'd prefer that up means up, and down means down. I also think wasd should be possible to use instead of arrow keys.
The guy should be able to walk faster, and the grass shouldn't slow him down nearly as much, it is just irritating that he walks so slowly.
It took some time to understand how to talk to people, at first I was always pressing space and I didn't understand what to do.

Thanks for the great feedback. This is really useful.
I'll try out that control scheme. I wanted to try to get the feel of a FPS in terms of how you accurately you can shoot but I agree that it is a bit awkward. I'll play around a bit with that. I also agree that the walking speed needs some tuning. I implemented the sprinting and I'm not completely happy with it. Perhaps the game doesn't really need it. I originally envisaged that you would do some running and hiding but that hasn't been an interesting mechanic yet.
Thanks for sharing the problems with the conversation system. I'll see if I can make that more obvious.

Actually, an idea might be to combine both FPS style control (using the WASD keys) and compus direction style control (using the arrow keys). That way players could choose what works best for them individually.

Yes, you are right! I didn't implement a stealth kill mechanic yet but that is a good idea. I'll give it a try.
As you spotted, enemies will notice you (I imagined that they would be hearing you!) even from behind if you get close enough. The stealth part currently is limited to the fact that they the darkness limits how much they can see. You can stand in a dark alley and shoot or approach someone keeping to the shadows.
