if you want a nice thing like this (it can even use python as well as the steve language) look for breve or breveIDE it is specifically for artificial life sime type stuff

emergent behavior is where you have a bunch of things, and a bunch of rules about how they react to each other, and then you watch what the whole lot does when you run it

My guess is that this program will show patterns of behavior emerging as trends.

Carlo, we can't download this file to run it. It looks interesting, but we don't have access to the file. Try MediaFire for a simple hosting service, or SourceForge if you want to keep those docs accessible.
