Dash - 0.8

Description

Dash is an old-school platformer, but with a twist: The levels are created procedurally.

This means that levels are never the same!

The game only has a few elements. The player, solid ground, and spikes.

In addition, the game will track the player's score based on what sorts of obstacles they are passing, among other things.

Dash is now at v1.0!
Edit: I found someone who made the Windows build for me, so that's up, too.

Changes

Added: Level Completion Sound Complete Level Generator Other Notes: Removed reset keys

The "you died" animation is funny. The game crashes if I walk left. I liked the sound.

Works well. But, if you jump past the flag, you can keep walking towards the wall to make your score climb.

Very nice game. I noticed that there is no way to beat some of the levels, but it runs very smooth!

Actually, "Arty" is a word, too. The difference is that "artsy" is more of an insulting word, whereas "arty" is more neutral.

On your website, shouldn't your tag line "Arty minimalism for the masses" actually be "Artsy minimalism for the masses"? Just saying, I think the word is "artsy".

Interesting! Procedural work always impresses me.

I liked the concept of the game. This could be something if you work on it.
